Kohler Co. From home offices to gyms to entertaining, homes have become multifunctional spaces. The use of smart technology provides innovative options for people to control and manage their homes for comfort and well-being on a daily basis. Smart home technology allows people to customize their homes. This course discusses how smart technology can interconnect household spaces to increase comfort, cleanliness, and well-being. 60 minutes.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain the macrotrends in the smart technology sector and the design principles of products using smart technology.
  • State the benefits of smart technology, specifically how it allows for aging in place.
  • Discuss the role of smart technology in creating more comfortable and personalized homes.
  • List how smart technology fixtures can provide convenience and cleanliness.
  • Discuss how touchless fixtures, including faucets and toilets, contribute to cleanliness and hygiene.

Faculty BIO

Jonathan Bradley serves as Product Manager ' Emerging Categories for Kohler Co. In this role, Jonathan is responsible for a cohesive vision between Smart Home, MedTech, and Kohler's Traditional Products Lines, as well as any new Emerging Product Categories. He has been a part of Kohler's Smart Home journey from its inception including the debut of Kohler Konnect at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2018. His focus with Smart Home is delivering products and experiences that are immersive and customer focused and finding meaningful use cases to provide gracious living.
